Configuring whomso in HubSpot

Overview

As whomso is a HubSpot native app, the product can be configured to a much greater degree than similar tools with a basic connection to your CRM. To make the most out of this, this guide shows you how to configure whomso within HubSpot.

Adding the whomso app card to CRM records

App cards are custom components you can add to HubSpot objects. whomso operates at the company level, so to set it up you'll first have to navigate to a company page.

Once in, you'll need to click 'Customize Record' at the top right. This will bring up the Record Customization page.

At this point you may be shown a number of views, or just the Default View. We'd recommend changing the Default View to avoid confusion but if your team have a variety of views set up then use the one that Customer Success teams use.

Once inside the view editor, you should click Add Cards on the central panel (where the blue i icon is in the below screenshot). This will open a panel where you can add various cards to the company record view.

Select Apps as the card type and, assuming that you've already added whomso to your HubSpot account, you'll see the Microsite List tab. Check the box and add it to your record.

Once added, the card will appear at the bottom of the list. We'd recommend dragging (using the drag handle) the card to the top of the page so you can easily access it when you open a company record.

And that's it. Simple, straightforward, and ready for use!
